Dennis Linebaugh, age 59, a longtime resident of Merrillville, passed away on Friday, July 8, 2011. He was born on March 12, 1952 in Charleston, Missouri and raised by his parents Vernon and Mary Podgorski. Dennis worked for over 28 years for United States Steel as a journeyman millwright. He also belonged to the steelworkers union local.
Dennis is survived by his loving family, Mary Jones, Merrillville, daughters Leah (Bill) Long, Denise (Paul) Hanna, and Dina (Charles) Long, all of Lake Station, son Dennis Jones, Raleigh, North Carolina, and other loving family and dear friends.
Private family services were held and Dennis will be cremated. Memorials in Dennis' memory may be made to help the Linebaugh Family. Donations may be sent to Rees Funeral Home – Winfield Chapel, 10909 Randolph Street, Winfield, Indiana 46307.
