Dennis A. Young, age 69, of Hobart passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at St. Mary Medical Center. He was born on January 22, 1952 in Hammond, Indiana to the late Aubrey and Viola Young. Dennis was a 1970 graduate of Hobart High School. He was an avid outdoorsman and liked to spend his free time hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his son, Scott Young of Cedar Lake; brothers, Jeff (Kim) Young of Valparaiso; Terry (Julie) Young of Schoolcraft, MI; nephews, Terry Young, Jr., Casey Young; niece, Jenna Young; and his two beloved cats, Mama and Freddie.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Aubrey and Viola Young; and one sister, Judi Young.
