Diana L. Hale, age 67 of Hobart passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021.  She was born on November 5, 1953, in Chicago, Illinois to the late Edward and Dolores Preuss.  Diana was a resident of Justice, Illinois for many years.  She worked as a Cosmetologist and managing restaurants.  Diana was the matriarch and rock of the family.  She loved going to the casino, spending time with her great-nephew and great-nieces, watching Hallmark Christmas movies, and baking cookies.

She is survived by one daughter, Amy (Allen Skrandell) Hale of Hobart, IN; two sisters, Bonnie (Anthony) Petkus of Joliet, IL; Linda Preuss of Kankakee, IL; sister-in-law, Peggy Preuss, eight nieces and nephews, Karen, Anthony, Melyssa, Emily, Shelby, Jeffrey, Rian, and Katie, and cousin, Rebecca Radwan.  She was Oma to Memphis Preuss.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William Hale, one brother, Edward Preuss, and one niece, Danielle Preuss.
