Diana Lynn Howard, age 47, a resident of Lake Station, passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2012. She was born on April 19, 1964 in Gary, Indiana the daughter of Albert Ruzbasan, Jr. and MaryLou Hasara. Diana worked for over 18 years with In-Pact Incorporated as a Residential Director. Diana loved to read, go camping, go out and feed the ducks and geese, and play computer games. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and a dear friend to all.

Diana was the devoted mother of her late son Timothy Howard who preceded her in death in June of 2009.

Diana is survived by her loving family, daughters Cindy (Allen) Fowler, Hobart, and Ashley Howard, Michigan City, son Brandon Howard, Shelbyville, longtime companion Robert Weiland, Lake Station, mother MaryLou Hasara, Portage, father Albert (Lee) Ruzbasan, Jr., Griffith, sisters Debra Ruzbasan, Hammond, Dawn (Rich) Hamlin, Corruna, Donna (Scott) Elliott, Hammond, and Denise (Larry) Monacy, Lake Station, brother Dale Ruzbasan, Wanatah, numerous nieces and nephews and cousins, her loving boys of In-Pact, and other loving family and dear friends.

A visitation for Diana Howard will be held from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Rees Funeral Home – Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart. A funeral service for Diana Howard will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at Rees Funeral Home. Burial will be at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville.
