Diane F. Richardson, age 59, of Portage passed away Friday October 24, 2014 at her home. Diane was born December 23, 1954 in Garfield Heights, OH to Arthur and Peggy (Foster) Haines. Diane was a loving grandmother, mother and wife. She was a Registered Nurse that worked for several Hospices. Other than her family Diane's great passion was playing the piano. She enjoyed golfing and her canine companions.
Diane is survived by her loving husband Edward; her mother Peggy Haines of Columbus, OH; four children Raymond (Kirsten) Haines of Columbus, OH, Sally McSwain of Apopka, FL, Vince (Wanda) Maynard of Peru, IN and Warren Parker Maynard, II of Chicago, IL; two brothers Dan (Beth) Haines of San Diego, CA and Doug (Nancy) Haines of Falling Waters, WV; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Diane was preceded in death by her father Arthur Haines.
Funeral services will be 12 Noon Saturday November 1, 2014 at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel 5341 Central Ave. Portage, IN 46368 with Pastor Bob Burton officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 am till Noon prior to the services.
