Dolores J. Rapka

Dolores J. Rapka, age 75 of Hobart, formerly of Chicago passed away Monday, February 20, 2017. She was born on June 14, 1941 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Ray and Clara Sinde. Dolores dedicated her life to her family. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
She is survived by her loving husband of 55 yrs., Frank Rapka of Hobart; son, Michael Rapka of Las Vegas, NV; two daughters, Debra (David) Zyla of Tualatin, Oregon and Diane (Michael) McGuckin of Valparaiso; two brothers, Raymond (Melanie) Sinde of Valrico, Florida and Richard (Nancy) Sinde of Mokena, Illinois; four grandchildren, Natalie McGuckin, Dawson McGuckin, Stephanie Rapka and Joey Zyla and many other loving family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, Alan Rapka; her parents; her brother, Joseph Sinde.
Funeral services for Dolores will be held Monday, February 27, 2017 at 10:00 am at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, Indiana 46342. Burial will be held at Evergreen Memorial Park in Hobart. Visitation for Dolores will be held Sunday, February 26, 2017 from 2:00-8:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel.
