Dominic Lentini, age 76, of Hobart, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2017 at St. Mary Medical Center surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Gary, Indiana on March 15, 1941 to the late Joseph and Mary (nee Montrose) Lentini. Dominic was in the United States Army Reserve for 8 Years. He proudly served as a Gary Firefighter for 27 years.

Dominic is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sharon Lentini; daughter, Sheryl (David) Scheeringa; granddaughter, Rachael Oswald; great grandchildren, Devlin, Jude; sisters, Theresa, RoseMary; sisters in law, Pat, Barbara; brother in law, Robert; and many loving nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; great grandson, Silas; and brother, Vincent.

A memorial service for Dominic will take place Friday, July 14, 2017 at 11:30 am at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd. Hobart, IN 46342 with Rev. Lourdu Pasala officiating.
