DONALD W. VEZEAU, age 56, of Lake Station, passed away May 12, 2014 while surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 3, 1957 to Donald R. and Claudia Vezeau. He married Sheila Ostrowski on April 4, 1987. Don enjoyed playing horseshoes, fishing, family and having fun. He took pride in his work as a carpenter and helped many people through the years with his carpentry skills. Don will be deeply missed.
Don was preceded in death by his mother, Claudia Vezeau.

He is survived by his wife, Sheila; 3 children, Autumn (Dino) Atilano, Chantel Vezeau (Brandon), and Briana (Carl) Kurek all of Portage; 4 grandchildren, Nick, Nina, Erica and Bell; 4 siblings, Joe (Robin) Ostrowski of Oak Lawn, Connie Vandepoll of CA, Roger (Cindy) Vezeau of Huntington, IN, and Chris (Rachel) Vezeau of Cary, IL; goddaughter, Casey; many nieces and nephews and other loving family and friends.

A memorial service for Don will be Friday, May 16, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. in the Blue Spruce Room at Woodland Park, 2100 Willowcreek Rd., Portage. Online condolences may be extended to the family at www.reesfuneralhomes.com.
