Donald L. Davis

Donald L. Davis, age 90 a longtime Lake Station resident passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021.  He was born on December 23, 1930 in Gary, Indiana to the late Robert and Marie Davis.  Don worked as a Quality Systems Manager for U.S. Steel and also for Industrial Steel Construction.  He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Hobart and also a member of the Trinity Lutheran Couples Club.  Don enjoyed golfing with his buddies.

He is survived by his wife, Wilma Davis of Lake Station, IN; two daughters, Karon (the late Allen) Scholebo of Virginia Beach, VA; Patricia (Scott) Harrington of Ooltewah, TN; one son, Don (Jacquelyn) Davis, Jr. of Westminster, CO; one sister, Jeanette (Lewis "Joe") Kalberer of Hobart, IN:  nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 2 great great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, William Davis, Arthur Davis, Alan Davis, and two sisters, Wanda Fitzgerald and Shirley Kunch.

Visitation is Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart.  Funeral services are Friday, February 26, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart with Rev. Nathan Kramer officiating.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Portage, IN.
