Donald K. "Don" Griffin, age 62 a longtime Hebron resident, passed away Monday, October 19, 2015. He was born on March 7, 1953 to the late Garfield and Euna Griffin. He worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for Local 150, International Union of Operating Engineers. Donald enjoyed woodworking and collecting guns.

He is survived by his loving wife of over 44 years, Carolyn "Carol" Griffin (nee Payton) of Hebron, IN; one daughter, Kelly Griffin of Hebron, IN; one brother, Steve (late Debra) Griffin of Portage, IN; one sister, Phyllis Denisiuk of Lake Station, IN; two grandchildren, Shelby (fiancée Justin Richardson) Griffin of Hebron, IN; Donald D. Griffin of Hebron, IN; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Griffin of TN; Ardell (Roger) Marsh of Highland, IN; two brothers-in-law, Cliff (Jolene) Hartzel of Highland, IN; Terry (Payton of Hebron, IN; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Terry Griffin, and sister, Kay Griffin.
Funeral services are Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Winfield Chapel, 10909 Randolph St.. Cremation will follow with Rees Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
