Donald Lee Halford, age 58 of Lake Station passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at Vibra Healthcare in Crown Point, Indiana. He was born to Russell and Rosemary (Marrilynn) Halford. Donald lived in the area his entire life. Don was a man who worked hard and well to provide for his loved ones. His generosity knew no bounds. Every picture of him displays a joy, a mischievous smile and his signature salute. His love for family was only matched by his affection for Harley Davidson motorcycles, leather and his old friend, Jack Daniels. Good with a gun, better with a wrench. Don was a marksman and mechanic but above all he was a good old country boy. He is survived by 4 sisters, Connette (Ferman) Blalock, his twin, Debra (Billie Dale, deceased) Brock, Marsha (Donna Vana) Halford and Sharyl (LeAlan) York, 1 brother, David (Pattie) Halford, 1 sister-in-law, Bonnie (Michkel, deceased) Halford as well as many nieces and nephews and his fiancée, Karen ("Shortcake") Parker. Donald was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Michkel Halford.
