Age 79, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2014 at Saint Mary Medical Center in Hobart.
He was born on February 24, 1934 in Effingham, Illinois to the late Carl and Clara (nee Ullrich) Hoefflicker. On April 28, 1956 Donald married Jane A Collins at St. Bridget's Catholic Church in Hobart. Donald was a retired self-employed Carpenter. He enjoyed collecting antiques and loved working in the yard.
He is survived by his loving family; wife, Jane A (nee Collins) Hoefflicker of Hobart; two sons, Kirk (Connie) Hoefflicker of Valparaiso, Greg (Brenda) Hoefflicker of Chesterton; two daughters, Deborah (Tim) Benedict of Crown Point, Lianne (Johnny) Simmons of DeMotte; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; brother, Robert (Helen) Hoefflicker of Birmingham, Alabama, many other loving family members and friends.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Leonard and James Hoefflicker and sister Delores Hoefflicker.
