Donald M. Ramsay

Age 80, of Chesterton, IN and Rotonda West, FL passed away peacefully on Friday, August 2, 2024, at home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on May 1, 1944, in Gary, Indiana to the late Donald L. and Bonita J. (nee Reich) Ramsay. He attended East Gary Edison High School and graduated from Portage High School. Don retired from National Steel where he worked as an electrician. In his later years, he studied HVAC at Ivy Tech Valparaiso. He married the love of his life Constance Ann "Connie" Moser on February 14, 1964.

Don was an avid outdoorsman and nature lover. He loved fishing and hunting. Especially in northern Minnesota and Alaska. He was a very talented carpenter. He will be remembered as a hard worker and good provider and a loving husband, father, grandfather, and a true friend.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 yrs. Connie Ramsay; son, Don (Mei) Ramsay; grandson, Justin Hopkins and other loving friends.

Don was preceded in death by his parents.
