Donald W. Stewart

DONALD W. STEWART, age 49, of Lake Station, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2020.  He was born on September 18, 1970 in Daviess County, KY.  Don was a longtime area resident and worked for Consolidated Fabrication for many years.  He was passionate about motorcycles, cars and above all his family.  Don will be remembered for a smile that would light up a room and the love he had for his family.

He is survived by his wife, Nicole (nee Johnson); 5 children, Skyler Stewart, Nicholas Johnson, Hunter Stewart, Dakota Johnson, and Bryce Hudson; 2 brothers, Edward and Jerry (Edie) Stewart; 6 sisters, Terry (Leonard) Keiffer, Pat (Ernie) Jones, Lisa (Ronnie) Thomas, Susie Hamilton, Joyce Quiggins and Tammy Stewart; several  nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends

Don was also preceded in death by his parents, James Stewart and Teresa Lee Hoagland; brothers, James Logan Stewart, twin brothers, Mark and Michael Stewart; and sister, Catherine Stewart.

There will be a funeral service for Don on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at 12 Noon at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave., Portage, with Rev. Don Good officiating.  Visitation will also be Thursday, July 9, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at Noon.  Burial will follow at McCool Cemetery, Portage.
