Donna Jean "Beanie" (Utley) Fazekas, 54, of Portage, Indiana passed away December 23, 2023.  She entered the world on November 11, 1969, born in Gary, Indiana to the late Donald and Barbara (Hurt) Utley.

Beanie is the mother of three children and grandmother to seven grandchildren.  She was a free spirit that lived life in her own way.  Bean loved Betty Boop and riding Harley Davidson motorcycles.  She was taken from the world far too soon and will be greatly missed.

Bean is survived by her daughters, Tanya Driver and Tonya Worley; brother, Charles "Paul" Utley; sisters, Kresha (John) Tabor, and Victoria (George) Workman; grandchildren, Alexia, McKenzie, Jayden, Nicholas, Joshua, Lilly, and Jason; nieces, Shelby, Kimber, Isabella, and Kayla; and nephews, Brandon, Nicholas, Austin, Alex, Preston, and Cameron.

In addition to her parents, Bean was preceded in death by her son, Jason Utley.

The family will hold a visitation for friends who would like to attend from 12:00pm – 2:00pm, Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Avenue, Portage, Indiana.  Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm and will be hosted by Beanie's uncle, Johnny Hurt.
