Donna Jo Denny

Donna Jo Denny (nee Leach), age 60, of Hobart, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2018. She was born on January 13, 1958 in Hammond, Indiana to Logan and Versie Marie Leach. She was a member of Zion Holiness Church. In her free-time, she enjoyed sewing and reading. She will always be remembered as a dedicated wife, mother, sister and friend to those who love her.

Donna is survived by her beloved husband, Lloyd Denny, Jr.; son, Eric (Amanda) Denny; daughter, April (Chad) Powell; grandchildren, Ayden Denny, Brooklyn Reichert, Kinsley Denny, Ava Grace Denny, Gavin, Maverick and Kane Powell; father, Logan Leach; brothers, Scott Leach, Mike (Bridget) Leach, Jeremy (Melissa) Leach, Matthew (Elizabeth) Leach; sisters, Tracy (Wayne) Skipworth, Tara (Jeramy) Rock, Trina (Bryce) Coleman, Teresa (Roger) Holland, Amy Leach, Sarah (David) Miller, Mary (Greg) Poston; sisters-in-law, Tanya (Donald) Marks, Panda (Jan Chronic) Denny; many loving nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Versie Marie Leach; grandmother, Ida Bell Renfrow; and brother, Stephen Leach.

Visitation for Donna will be held Sunday, August 19, 2018 from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart. A funeral service will take place Monday, August 20, 2018 at 10:00 am at Zion Holiness Church, 707 169 ^th Street, Hammond with visitation there from 9:00 am until the time of service.
