Donna Rae (nee Cook) Fedor, age 83 of Lake Station, passed away Monday, April 29, 2024, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 10, 1940, in Tacoma, Washington to the late William and Esther Cook. Donna was a dedicated member of the Hobart Presbyterian Church. She was a talented seamstress and enjoyed the time she spent swimming with her friends at the YMCA. Above all, she loved her family and dedicated her life to them. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis Fedor; daughters, Karen (John) Baltrushaitis, Jill (Ted) Cheek, Gayle Rotz, Jodi (Tim) Carr; sons, Scott (Alexia) Fedor, Kevin Fedor; grandchildren, Lauren (Austin) Crabtree, Madelyn Baltrushaitis, Tessa Cheek, Theo Cheek, Jordan (Molly) Carr, Kiersten Rotz, Makenna Rotz, Colin Carr, Nolan Carr, Chloe Fedor, Caden Fedor, Kinzley Fedor; one great granddaughter, Claire Crabtree; two great grandchildren, Josie Carr and Casey Crabtree on the way; brother, Wendell Cook; sister, Diana (Matt) Ostrander
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Esther Cook; sisters, Darlene Anderson and Betty Morgan. Memorial contributions in Donna's name may be made to the Hobart Presbyterian Church.
Memorial visitation will be held Monday, May 6, 2024, from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Hobart Presbyterian Church, 60 North Washington Street, Hobart, IN 46342. A memorial service will take place at 3:00 pm at the church with Rev. David Smook officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to Rees Funeral Home. For more information, please call (219) 942-2109.
