Donna J. Gibbs, age 74, of Lake Station passed away Saturday July 18, 2026, in her home. She was born July 22, 1951, in Chicago, Illinois to the late Lester and Lillie (Duckett) Clark. Donna was a homemaker and the neighborhood mother. She loved baking, working puzzles, Watching Game shows, and couponing.

Donna is survived by her loving daughter, Carol Pridmore of Lake Station; two grandsons, Zachary Pridmore and Kyle Pridmore both of Lake Station; four sisters-in-law, Reva Thomas, Annetta Bowman, Brenda Keller, and Rhonda Wheeler; three brothers-in-law, Charles Gibbs, Winfred Gibbs, and Walter Gibbs; numerous nieces and nephews also including Mariah Smith; and many dear friends including the Arts Family and the Schilke Family.

She was preceded by her parents; her loving husband, Billy Gibbs; son, Timothy Gibbs; and brother-in-law, Denzil Gibbs.

Visitation for Donna will be held Thursday July 23, 2026, from 2-7 pm at the Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel 5341 Central Portage, Indiana 46368. Her funeral service will be celebrated at the Funeral Home at 11:00 am Friday July 24, 2026, with pastor Jerry P. Martin officiating. Cremation will follow.
