Donna Kay Ziegler

Donna Kay Ziegler, age 79 of Valparaiso and formerly of DeMotte, passed away Monday, July 29, 2024. She was born on April 21, 1945, in Louisville, KY to the late Raymond and Eloise Ziegler. Donna was a graduate of Emerson High School. She worked as a manager for Luke Oil for over ten years. Donna was a hard worker and always wanted to help others. She will be dearly missed by her friends and family.

She is survived by her son, Joel (Jodie) Mackall of DeMotte; grandchildren, Nicholas Mackall and Katherine Mackall; brother, Daniel (Estelle) Ziegler of Hebron.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Eloise Ziegler; son, Craig A. Mackall in 2003; and grandson, Andrew Mackall.

Memorial contributions in Donna's name may be made to a Humane Society of the donor's choice.

The  family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Brickyard of Valparaiso for the compassionate care they provided during this difficult time.
