DORIS M. HAZELTINE, age 96, of Portage, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2013. She was born on March 6, 1917 in Chicago to Royal and Emma Voss. She was a longtime member of St. Petri Presbyterian Church in Chicago where she was active as a Guild member. Doris also served as a Lady Firemen for the railroad.
Doris is survived by her 2 daughters, Carolyn (Wade) Johnson of Arizona and Verna (Ray) Matheny of Portage; 4 grandchildren, Gale, Dale, Richie, and Debbie; numerous great grandchildren and a great- great granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Hazeltine; her parents; and brother, Robert Voss.
A visitation for Doris will be Friday, November 29, 2013 at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave., Portage from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
