Doris J. Turner (Nee Jones)
Doris J. Turner (nee Jones), age 80 of Portage passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2018. She was born on May 25, 1938 in Greenville, KY. Doris was a Portage resident since 1979 and was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Hobart.
She is survived by two sons, Jeff Turner, John Turner both of Portage, IN; one sister, Melba Wheat of Glasgow, KY; two grandchildren, Drake (Victoria Zepeda) and Jordyn Turner.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby E. Turner.
Funeral services are Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart with Rev. Daniel Gute officiating. Burial will follow at McCool Cemetery, Portage.
