Dorothy "Faye" Garza, age 76, of Lake Station, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2016. She was born on February 27, 1940 to the late Tip and Della (Nee Clouse) in Corbin, Kentucky. She enjoyed needle point, crocheting and sewing. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.
Dorothy is survived by her loving children; son, Rick (Debra) Cobb of Hobart; three daughters, Beulah (Darrell) Bangs of Lake Station, Brenda (Dennis) Miller of Plymouth and Sheila (Billy) Patterson of Flintville, Tennessee ; brother, Charles (Brenda) Moore of Kentucky; sister, Annalee (Gary) Rich of Portage; 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; special loved ones, Frank (Joy) Moore, David (Teresa) Moore, Carlyon Gross and Gene (Vicky) Autry and many other loving family members and friends.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Alfredo Garza Sr, her parents; 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
A funeral service will be held Friday, July 29, 2016 at 10:00 am at Central Avenue Church of God, 5120 Central Avenue, Portage, Indiana 46368. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Portage, Indiana 46368.
