Dorothy Whitaker

Age 74, of Portage, passed away Tuesday, November 1,2022. She was born on January 3,1948 to the late Eugene and Melbra (nee Hayes) Meadows. She worked and retired from USS, where she worked as a steelworker.  Dorothy enjoyed visiting the Portage dog park, the Bonner Senior Center and going to lunch gatherings at Miller's Mary Manor. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. Dorothy is survived by her son, David (Kim) Ison; daughter Cheryl (Scott) Watkins; four grandchildren, Gabrielle (Jon) Ricard, Ryan Watkins, Jarod, and Brandon Ison; great granddaughter, Aleeyah McCormick and many other loving family members and friends. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Whitaker, her parents, Eugene, and Melbra Meadows and her furry companion, Max. Per Dorothy wishes there will be a private service held in her memory.
