Earline Staggs (nee Brozel), age 67 of Gary passed away Thursday, May 16, 2024. She was born on September 3, 1956, in Chicago, Illinois to the late Chester and Hannah Brozel. Earline was a dedicated member of Christian Community Church of Christ in Hammond. She was an animal lover and enjoyed taking walks and going to breakfast after church.

She is survived by her children, Terry (Angela) Staggs, Linda Staggs, Crystal Staggs, Shawn Staggs; grandchildren, Desiree Parrillo, Thomas Parrillo, Terry Parrillo, Michael Parrillo, Joshua Parrillo, Shelbi Cheek, Kastine Cheek, Miranda (Joshua) Graaman, Dolton Staggs, Tyrese Gonzalez, Hope Miller, Reagan Giarraputo, Josepie Giarraputo, Quinton Rogers, Tory Hatcher; great grandchildren, Tory Hatcher III, Toriana Hatcher, Angel Hatcher, Alexander Santiago, Zander Parrillo, Landon Parrillo, Shamarrion France, Shamarrea France, Sophia Martinez; and brother, Eugene Brozel.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cassie Staggs Giarraputo; twin brother, Earl Brozel; brother, Chester Brozel; and sister, Dorothy Burchett.

Visitation for Earline will be Saturday, June 1, 2024, from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home 600 W. Old Ridge Road Hobart, Indiana. A funeral service will follow at 6:00 pm.
