EDDIE AUSTIN SPAIN, age 60, of Hobart, passed away Friday, January 14, 2011 at VNA Hospice. Eddie was born to Austin and Lucy Spain on May 25, 1950. He was a Hobart High School graduate and US Steel retiree. Eddie served his country in the US Army.

Eddie is survived by his children, Jennifer Gleason and Jason (Valerie) Spain; grandchildren, Taylor and Rylie Gleason and Tyler and Austin Spain; parents, Austin and Lucy Spain; siblings, Gary (Diane) Spain, Rita (Tom) Rushing, Marty (Cheri) Spain, Muggs Spain, and Terry (Cheryl) Spain; numerous nieces and nephews; close family friends, Cheryl King, Jim Hollar and Beth Barney.
