Eddy C. Koehler, age 65, of Valparaiso passed away in his home on November 4, 2013. Eddy was born February 22, 1948 in Gary, Indiana to the late Elmer and Shirley (Adams) Koehler. He was a former truck driver working for several area trucking companies and worked in security the last five years. Eddy was a Member of American Legion Post #502 and Abate.
Eddy is survived by two sons Eddie Koehler of Portage and Johnny (Erica) Koehler of Michigan City; three granddaughters Jenna, Lily and Izabelle; one brother Mickey (Donna) Koehler of Valparaiso; one sister-in-law Sherri Koehler of Nebraska and several nieces and nephews.
Eddy was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers John and Allan Koehler.
Memorial Services will be at 3:00 pm Saturday November 9, 2013 at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel 5341 Central Avenue Portage, IN 46368. Memorial visitation will be from 1:00-3:00 pm Saturday at the Funeral Home. Military Honors will be provided by the American Legion Post #502 Honor Guard.
