Edith L Bone, age 97 of Portage passed away Friday, July 10, 2015. She was born on April 27, 1918 in Gary, Indiana to the late Elmer and Hazel (nee Hall) Arnold. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her brother, Don (Audrey) Arnold; step son, Dave (Mary Jane) Henley of Hobart; Daughter- in –law, Olga Fleming of Hobart; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great- grandchildren and many other loving family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Henley, two sons, Jim and Dave Fleming; step-son, Jim Henley; granddaughter, Pam Manfred; two sisters, Dorothy and Alma; five brothers, Bill, Elmer, Edward, Dick and Howard Arnold. In lieu of flowers donations to Asera Care Hospice would be appreciated.
A memorial service for Edith will be Thursday, July 16, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd., Hobart with Chaplain Kerry Robinson officiating. Burial will take place at Evergreen Memorial Park.
