Edna M. McDonald (nee Adams), age 95, of Hobart, passed away at home on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. She was born on October 9, 1928, in Gary, Indiana to the late Bee and Blanche Adams. On August 6, 1945, she married Cris McDonald in Spokane, Washington. Edna loved to read, enjoyed line dancing and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. She enjoyed doing yard work and loved her flowers. Above all, she loved her family and lived for her grandchildren. She will always be remembered for the love she showed them.

She is survived by her daughters, Lynda Radinsky, Kathy (Ron) Jackson, Jo Ann McDonald; grandchildren, Kim (Dennis) Varian, Curt (Jennifer) Jackson, Crissy (Mat) Borton, Tracy (fiancée, Tommy Modesto) Franklin, Scott (Tawny) Bretts; great grandchildren, Brad, Brooke, Maile, Analise, Anthony, Taylor, Oberon and Mya.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bee and Blanche Adams; and her siblings, Jimmy, Mary Lee, Frances, Aline "Shorty", and Shirley.

A funeral service for Edna will take place Friday, October 13, 2023 at 7:00 PM at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart. Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Greenwood Cemetery in Orlando, Florida.
