Edna G. Neace

Edna G. Neace, age 91, of Hobart, passed away Monday, July 16, 2018. She was born on August 18, 1926 in Hazard, KY to the late Manuel and Cora Gwin. Edna was a dedicated member of Barrington Ridge Baptist Church. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting, sewing and working in her garden. Above all, she loved her family and cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren.

Edna is survived by her son, Clyde (Debbie) Neace; daughters, Joyce Manitsky, Jean (Ron) Williamson, Betty (Ishmuel) Fugate, Judy (Ron) Wleklinski, Alberta (Junior) Watts; grandchildren, Travis (Cheryl) Fugate, Kenneth (Jennifer) Fugate, Tonya (Pat) Fogarty, Sommer (Ben) Forgey, Daven Watts, Chaylene (Jim) Schifeling, Daniel Manitsky, Christopher Neace, Joshua Neace, Clyde Neace, Scott (Brenna) Williamson, Kevin (Tara) Williamson, Vicky (John) Mostaccio, Sheri (James) Forte;  many great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; siblings, Hirim (Alice) Gwin, Suzie Campbell, Kathy (Howard) Copley, Ray (Dottie) Neace, Dexter Neace.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnett Neace in 2013; and one son, Arnett Lane Neace.

A funeral service for Edna will take place Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 12:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart with Rev. Don Good officiating. She will be laid to rest at Calumet Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home. For more information, please call (219) 942-2109.
