Eduardo J. Calvente, age 67, of Crown Point, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2020 at home surrounded by his family. He was born on January 15, 1953 in Rosario, Argentina to the late Jorge Alberto Calvente and Maria Livia Backer. Eduardo was a member of St. Bridget Catholic Church. He retired from Haire Group where he worked in international sales. Eduardo had traveled all over the world for work and for fun. He kept himself active playing tennis and golf. In Argentina, he coached kids in Club Pucara and here in America he helped out with his sons Rubgy team, the Hobart Exiles.  He was a very intelligent and caring man who will always be remembered for his dedication to his family.

He is survived by his wife, Antonia Gallucci de Calvente; sons, Jorge Calvente of Crown Point, Gonzalo (Laura) Calvente of Miami, FL, Mariano (Alejandra) Calvente of Los Angeles, CA; daughter, Sofia (Jason) Calvente de Leal of Crown Point; grandchildren, Tiago Leal, Niko Leal, Tais Calvente; brother, Alberto Calvente; and sister, Jorgelina Calvente.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
