Edward B. Bohling, age 85, of Miller Beach, Indiana passed away Saturday August 10, 2024, in the Aperian Care Center of Tolleston Park in Gary. Edward was born February 14, 1939, in Gary, Indiana to the late Edward and Zola Mae (Knick) Bohling. He worked for the Gary School System before becoming a steelworker that retired from Bethlehem Steel. He was also a part-time Barber. He was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Gary and a former caretaker of the Bethel Cemetery in Miller. Ed was a graduate of Wirt High School class of 1959, he attended Cedarville College, and graduated from Lowell Barber College.

Ed is survived by a brother, Russell Bohling of Kenosha, Wisconsin; former wife, Lisa Baker of Texas; brother-in-law, George Pester of Hobart; good friends, Tony Rodriguez and family; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters, Carol Pester and Barbara Hawkins.

Visitation for Edward will be held Thursday August 15, 2024, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home 600 W. Old Ridge Road Hobart, Indiana 46342. Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 am at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Calumet Park Cemetery.
