Edward "Steve" Brown

Edward "Steve" Brown, age 72, of Crown Point, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2016. He was born on November, 20, 1943 to the late Edward C. and Mary Agnes (nee Fleming) Brown. Steve graduated from John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio. He was a member of the Winamac Old Auto Club. Steve will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.
Steve is survived by his loving wife, of 48 years, Mary Ann (nee Kane) Brown; son, Ed (Jeri Sue) Brown; daughters, Dr. Shannon (Dr. Kye Park); Brown, Holly (Christopher) Bojrab, Colleen (Rockford) Patrick; grandchildren, Madeline, Colin, Olivia, Margaret, Catherine; and brothers, Jerry Brown, Carl Brown.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Steve will take place on Wednesday August 10, 2016 at 10:00 am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 509 W Division Road Valparaiso, Indiana 46385 with Rev. Douglas J. Mayer officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 from 2-8 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Winfield Chapel, 10909 Randolph Street Winfield, IN 46307. Additionally during the visitation, there will be a rosary service at 4:30 pm. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso. For more information, please call 219-661-2600.
