Edward Roy Peterson

Edward Roy Peterson, age 77 of Valparaiso passed away Sunday, September 7, 2025.  He was born on December 24, 1947, in Harvey, Illinois to the late Walter and Gertrude Peterson.  Edward was a Vietnam Army veteran. He retired from Bethlehem Steel.  Edward loved woodworking, quilting, fishing, and collecting baseball cards.

He is survived by two daughters, Wanda Rogers, Deana (Gary) McGrew, three brothers, Larry (Thanh) Peterson, George (Lois) Peterson, and John (Debbie) Peterson, four grandchildren, Nicholas, Jodie, Natalie, and Nathaniel, and five great-grandchildren.

Cremation will take place with Rees Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Portage.  Burial of cremains at Calvary Cemetery will take place at a later date.
