Edwin Medina, Jr., age 58, of Lake Station, passed away Friday, October 7, 2016. He was born on June 10, 1958 in Santa Monica, California to the late Edwin Medina, Sr. and Antonia Medina Mendez. He was a lifelong resident of Northwest Indiana and a 1977 graduate of River Forest High School. He was a kind and loving brother, who will always be remembered for his vibrant personality. He will be sorely missed by those who love him, especially his beloved brother, Benjamin.

He is survived by his brother and best friend, Benjamin (Lettey) Medina; sisters, Milagro (Andrew) Bevil, Nilsa (Andrew) Esfakis; 8 nieces and nephews; 3 great nieces and nephews; the love of his life, Jody; and many other loving family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Antonia Medina; brother, Antonio Medina.
