Eleanor R Gorski, age 81, of Crown Point, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at St. Anthony Medical Center in Crown Point. She was born on February 27, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Carl and Martha (nee Kauffman) Dietrich. Eleanor was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Crown Point and an active member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

Eleanor is survived by her husband of 54 years, Robert L. Gorski of Crown Point, Indiana; two sons, Mark (Lori) Gorski of Sammammish, Washington and Corey (Holly) Gorski of Puyallup, Washington; one daughter, Carla (Thomas) Russell of Grand Junction, Colorado; six and a third grandchildren, Samantha, Blake, Zane, Thor, Finn Gorski, Jovy Russell and baby boy Russell due July 1, 2015; brother, Fred Dietrich and many other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Bob Dietrich.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 7667 E. 109th Ave., Crown Point, IN 46307. Rev. Thomas E. Mischler officiating. Memorial visitation will be Saturday, January 31, 2015 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are preferred to Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Rees Funeral Home, Winfield Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements. Please call 219-661-2600
