Eleanore Williamson

Eleanore Williamson, age 80, a longtime resident of Valparaiso and formerly of Gary, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2011. She was born on July 8, 1931 in Gary, the daughter of Paul and Mary Bain. Eleanore was married to Earl F. Williamson, Sr. and he preceded her in death. Eleanore was a retired salesperson with Carson, Pierre, Scott. She enjoyed crafts, hook rugs, and loved to collect angels. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and a dear friend to all.

Eleanore is survived by her loving family; sons Earl (Linda) Williamson, Jr., Hanna, Harold Williamson, Valparaiso, and Larry (Pat) Williamson, Valparaiso, daughters Charlene Hanna, Portage, Mary (Jeff) Pfeifer, Portage, and Donna (Dave) Lowden, Chesterton, 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, brother Micky (Peggy) Bain, sisters Dorothy Kaletta, Hobart, and Marilyn (Ray) Bagley, Rochester, and other loving family and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Earl F. Williamson, brothers Amil Bain, Louie Bain, Andy Bain, John Bain, and Danny Bain, sister Betty Beatty, special brother-in-law Phil Kaletta, special son-in-law Richard Hanna, grandson Terry Williamson, and granddaughter Angie Hardesty.

A visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Rees Funeral Home – Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Rees Funeral Home. Burial will be at Calumet Park Cemetery.
