Elnora Jo Myers

Elnora Jo Myers (nee Mullen), age 87, of Lake Station, IN, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022.

Jo was born on May 31, 1935 in Boulder, CO to the late Edward and Eleanor Mullen.  She was a homemaker and was very devoted to her family.  Jo married William "Bill" Myers and spent 28 years together until his passing in 1983.  She was a faithful member of Community Presbyterian Church in Lake Station.  Jo enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.  She is a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Jo is survived by her children: Larry (Grace) Myers and Cindy Sobczak; grandchildren: Billie, Brian, Racheal, and Melody; great-grandchildren: Breanna, Stephen, Timothy, Ethan, Aden, Nevaeh, Madison, Mason, Xavier, Asa, and Veda; siblings: Irene and Jim; many nieces and nephews; and beloved dog: Teddy.

Jo is preceded in death by her husband: Bill; son: Ray; grandson: Aaron; parents: Edward and Eleanor; and siblings: Warren, Barb, and Eve.

Family and friends may gather at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel (5341 Central Ave, Portage) on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 from 2:00-8:00 P.M.  A funeral service will take place on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. with Kim Kincaid officiating.  At rest, Calvary Cemetery.
