Else Woodward

Else Woodward (NEE Haidle), age 58, of DeMotte passed away December 2, 2017 at her son's home in Lake Station.  Else was born February 7, 1959 in Heidelberg, Germany to the late Friedrich and Elsa (Frank) Haidle.  She was a licensed practical nurse working at the Addison Pointe Medical Center in Chesterton, Indiana.  Else lived and breathed for her family and loved to garden.  She was a proud strong German woman.

Else is survived by her four sons, George Randall Woodward, Jr., Thomas Eldridge Woodward, III, John Andrew Woodward and Robert (Lisa) Woodward; fourteen grandchildren, Sabrina Woodward, Alexis McKee, John Woodward, Hannah Hutchins, Thomas Woodward, Lilly Skandera, Trista Henderson, Lanessa Woodward, Chasity Prosser, Americus Earl, Angelina Lewis, Paige Skandera, Robert Woodward, Jr. and John Woodward, Jr.; two great grandchildren, Scarlett Woodward and Jadelyn Hutchins; and two siblings, Earl and Gerda.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Willi and Alexander.

Funeral services will be Monday December 11,  2017 at  1:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Brady Chapel 3741 Central Avenue Lake Station, Indiana 46405.  Visitation will be from 10:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in McCool Cemetery.
