Emery C Severin

Age 88 , of Hobart passed away Thursday, January 11,2018 at the Chesterton Manor surrounded by his loving family. Emery retired from US Steel after 39 yrs. of service. He is survived by three sons, Norman (Connie) Severin of Valparaiso, Robert (Alicia) Severin of Schererville  and Ricky (Beth) Severin of Grant Park, Illinois; two daughters, Cynthia (Steve) Crisman of Burns Harbor and Brenda Mosier of Hobart; ten grandchildren, Kandy (Jay) Dunkley, Jennifer Severin, Courtney Severin, Sarah Crisman, Cheryl Severin, Mark Severin, Paige Severin, Steven Severin, David Mosier and Brittany Mosier; four great grandchildren, Evelyn and Norman Dunkley, Gavin and Gunner Miller;

Emery was preceded in death by his wife; Peggy Severin; his parents, Charles and Carrie (nee Wittrop) Severin and three sisters; Maria Smith, Hazel Severin and Phillyis Severin.

Funeral Services for Emery will be held Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, Indiana 46342 with Rev. Kurt Odenthal officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Hobart. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 16, 2018 from 12:00- -8:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel.
