Emily M. Grinstead (nee Beko), age 87 of Chesterton, Indiana passed away Sunday, February 3, 2013. She was born on May 18, 1925 in East Chicago, Indiana to the late Louis J. and Emily T. Beko. She worked as an office manager for Steel Transportation, Artim Trucking and Inland Steel.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Emily (Carl) Watroba Sr. of Schererville, IN; Jamie Grinstead of Chesterton, IN; 3 grandchildren, Carl (Melissa) Watroba Jr., Diana (Gilbert) Moore, Donna (Alan Sr.) Spradlin, 11 great-grandchildren, Micayla, Anastasia, Carl W. III "Trey", and Connor Watroba, Jessica (Chase) Loy, Joseph (Ceili) Moore, Emily, Alan Jr. "AJ", Richard, Anthony, and Marcus Spradlin, 1 great-great grandson, Nikolai Moore.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James B. Grinstead, her brother, Louis J. Beko.

Funeral services are Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Portage.
