Estafana E. Howerton

Estefana "Aggi" Howerton (nee Tellez), age 66 of Valparaiso formerly of Portage passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018.  She was born on November 3, 1951 in Gary, Indiana to the late Emeterio and Maria Tellez.   She worked at U.S. Steel.  Estefana was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church and Sociedad Mutualista Mexico.  She enjoyed cooking, reading, and crafting.

She is survived by two brothers, Victor (Mary) Tellez of Merrillville, IN; Eddie (Martha) Tellez of Lake Station, IN; two sisters, Lisa (Daniel) Guzman of Valparaiso, IN; Esther (Ron) Gibson of Woodenville, WA; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Bacilio (Eva) Garcia, Emilio Tellez, and her sister, Esmeralda Tellez.
