Ethel I. Mccoy

Ethel I. McCoy, age 82, of Lake Station, passed away at her home on Wednesday, January 16, 2019.  She was born in Columbus, Indiana on November 23, 1936 to the late Calvin and Rose (nee Cox) Elkins.  She will be remembered as a caring mother and grandmother who loved her family.

Ethel is survived by her daughter, Tami A. (Steve) Matthews of Schererville; son, Victor L. McCoy of Texas; grandchildren, John L., Stephen S. (Jessica), Kyra Lee (Robert); six great grandchildren; sister in law, Patricia McCoy; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis E. McCoy; father, Calvin Elkins; mother, Rose Romine; and siblings, Walter Romine, Alice Grace.
