Ethel M. Teller (nee Leitch), age 82, of Portage, IN and formerly of Lake Station, IN, passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2023.

Ethel was born on March 27, 1941 in Galatia, Saline County, IL to the late Gwen and Gladys (nee Lawyer) Leitch.  She was very skilled as an accountant and a real estate agent but worked to take care of her home.  Ethel married Earl Teller on October 23, 1961 and spent 50 loving years together until his passing in January of 2012.  She loved to crochet and could make just about anything from any pattern including dolls and clothes.

Ethel is survived by her grandchildren: Matthew Teller, Jacob and Lillian Wirick; brother: Richard (late Elke) Leitch; brothers-in-law: Don (Nancy) Teller and Gerald (Bonnie) Teller; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ethel is preceded in death by her husband: Earl; parents: Gwen and Gladys; brothers: William, Thomas, and Karl Leitch; sisters: Helen Williams, Jessie Leggett, and Sally Hartwig.

Per Ethel's wishes, there is no funeral service planned.  Ethel will be laid to rest with Earl at Ross Cemetery, Griffith, IN.
