Eunice F Bradford, known by most as Fay Doom, age 84, passed away Friday March 14, 2025, at the St Mary Medical Center in Hobart, IN. She was born December 25, 1940, to the late JE (Jake) and Mattie Ward of Iuka, KY. She was an Independent Driver who enjoyed traveling cross-country for many years, but the biggest joy in her life was always her family. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Friend to many, with an incredibly strong spirit, a second-to-none heart of gold, and a laugh that would always light up the room. Simply said, she was an amazing woman who will be tremendously missed and never forgotten.
She is survived by three children, Deborah (John) Garcia of Lake Station, IN, Chuck (Millie) Doom of Baytown, TX, and Richard (Tammy) Doom of Smithland, KY; nine Grandchildren, Natasha Doom-Blackerby, John McNabb, Elise McNabb, Brandi Doom, Zachary Doom, Joshua Doom, Breanne Brown (Doom), Jacqueline Sewell (Doom), and Jacob Doom; 15 Great Grandchildren; a Brother, Larry (Marsha) Ward of Tiline, KY, and Daughter-in-Law, Collette Doom.
She was preceded in death by the Father of her children, Lester Doom; former Husband Glenn Bradford, two Sons, Glen (Linda) Doom and Mark Doom; a Grandson, Michael Doom, and two Brothers Ulysses Grant (Bobby) Ward and Mickey Ward. Eunice wished to be cremated, and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
