Eva Suprenant

Age 76, of Hobart passed away Saturday, July 22, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on October 8, 1946, to the late Acie Jr. and Evelyn (nee Swanger) Key in Walker Co., Alabama.  Eva retired from Lincoln Carry Outs, where she worked as a cook. Eva enjoyed playing the dice games Yahtzee and 10,000, doing art projects and drinking Dr. Pepper.  Most of all, she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Eva will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend.

She is survived by her sons, Tim (Arianne) Suprenant of Hobart and George (Heather) Suprenant of Griffith; daughter, Jennifer (John) Suprenant-Zorek of DeMotte; six grandchildren, Daniel, Ashley, Matthew, Brianna, Chloe and McCain; two great-grandchildren, Amiyah and Roberto; two brothers, Raymond (Marsha) Key of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and Acie (Stella) Key III of Delano, Tennessee, best friend of 40+ years (sister from another mother) Mary Maleckar of Portage, and many other loving family members and friends.

Eva was preceded in death by her father, Acie Key Jr.; mother, Evelyn Key and sister, Jewel Key-Pate.
