EVELYN WINIFRED "WINNIE" "NANNY" MORRIS, 83, of Lake Station, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2023 at St. Mary Medical Center. She was born on July 16, 1939 in West Virginia. Winnie enjoyed her flowers and loved her cats and dogs.  She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

She is survived by her 2 sons, Garry Morris and Mike Morris of Lake Station; 2 daughters, Shandra Morris and Jackie (Dean) Handley, Lake Station; grandchildren, Christopher, Jessica, Nathan (Frances), Tyline (Scott), Nicole, Amber, Sierra; great grandchildren, Nicholas, Clara, Liam, Emily, Lilah, Oliver, Tony, Ashlee, Kyle, Christyn and Connor; brothers, Jack Burnes and Sam Burnes.

Winnie was preceded in death by parents, Ercell and Nellie; husband, Garry Allen Morris; son, Jeffrey Allen Morris; sister, Dorothy "Dot"; brothers, Kenny and Bill Burnes.

There will be a visitation for Winnie on Friday, June 16, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 W. Old Ridge., Hobart. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Portage. Please extend online condolences at www.reesfuneralhomes.com.
