Evelyn M. Ondrovich, age 92 of Portage passed away Thursday, November 21, 2013. She was a former longtime Hobart resident and was a member of St. Bridget's Church. She served as a Food Service Director for the Lake County Juvenile Center. She also worked as a Bookkeeper and Office Manager for Homecraft Products. Evelyn was also very active in the Democratic Party and served as a Poll Judge for many years.

She is survived by son, Richard (Marilyn) Ondrovich of Valparaiso, IN; daughter, Joyce (Bill Pritchard) Ondrovich of Panama City, FL; sister, Sophie (Marshall) Fross-Flanders of Monticello, IN; 7 grandchildren, William Shepheard, Deanna Atherton, Michael (Kristi) Ondrovich, David (Sherry) Ondrovich, Stephen (Laura) Ondrovich, Jeffrey (Cindy) Ondrovich, Daniel Ondrovich, 10 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Katica Glumac, her husband, William B. Ondrovich, son, William P. Ondrovich, grandson, James Shepheard Jr., sister, Helen Brooks and brother, Nicholas Glumac.

Funeral services are Monday, November 25, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart with Rev. Daniel P. Geer officiating. Entombment will follow at Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso. Visitation is Sunday, November 24, 2013 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel.
