Evelyn Marie Robbins

Age 86, of Portage formerly of Highland passed away Friday, April 18, 2025, at Brickyard in Portage. She was born on April 18, 1939, in Atoka, Tennessee to the late Robert E. and Mattie (nee Warmath) McFerson. She devoted her life to nurturing her family. She was a dedicated mother, a diligent worker, with a passion for gardening, canning and family bonding. She will be remembered for her great sense of humor and her loving nature.

She is survived by her son, David (Dodi Lerner) Ketchum; daughter, Regina (Ray) Bilka; five grandchildren, Kyle M. (Charity) Ketchum and Branden J. Ketchum, Alyse (Jack Monroe) Bilka, Mic (Anyssa) Bilka and Danielle Lerner; eight great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Gavin, Kyle Jr. Kaylynn, Kendal, Chandler, Carson and Dezi; four siblings, Bertha (Eddie) Turk, Brenda Boles, Dickey (Robbynn) McFerson, and Gloria Miller, ex- daughter in law, Deborah Crawford; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins  and other loving family members and friends.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, five siblings, Ruth, J.P, Robbie, Lauren, Betty Lou.
