Evelyn "Sally" Alice Tressler, age 86, of Lake Station, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at St. Mary Medical Center with her loving family at her side. She was born June 26, 1929 to the late Charles R and Sylvia (nee Albert) Glutting. Sally enjoyed the Senior Center, reading, puzzles and going out to eat. Most of all Sally enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
Sally is survived by her loving children; two sons, Thomas (Raye) Jackson of Hobart and James (Jacki May-Mitsch) Hendrick of Lowell; three daughters, Linda (Ted Coules) Bakos of Chesterton, Cindy (Bob) Loeffler of Gurnee, Illinois and Dawn (Bruce) Smith of Lenoir City, Tennessee, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ron Tressler; grandson, David Loeffler; her parents; brother, Charles Glutting and sister, Ruth Williams.

A funeral service for Sally will be held Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 11:00 am with Pastor Donald Good officiating, at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave. Portage, Indiana 46368.Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
