Evette Q. Santos

Evette Q. Santos, age 45, of Hobart passed away at St. Mary Medical Center on Monday, January 18, 2021.  Evette was born April 9, 1975 in Gary, Indiana to the late Curtis Bozeman and Connie Schwing.  She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Evette is survived by her husband, Joe Santos Sr.; three children, Gabriela Santos; Felicia (Chris) Piet and Joe Santos Jr.; grandchildren, Arabella Burchuk, Aaliyah Santos, Aubrey, Amelia, Liam, Mylez; two brothers, Mark Colon and Curtis Bozeman; two sisters, Patricia Carnahan and Mandy (Alfredo) Montero and many other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A funeral service for Evette will be held Monday, January 25, 2021 at 10 am at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, Indiana 46342. Burial at Evergreen Cemetery in Hobart. Visitation for Evette will be Sunday, January 24, 2021 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. also at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel.
